Most Reverend Luis Rafael Zarama, Bishop of Raleigh
Keynote Speaker:
Daniel Ritchie, author of My Affliction for His Glory
Daniel Ritchie, married father of 2 children, is a youth pastor in Charlotte as well as an author and speaker on Christian topics — particularly the sanctity of life.
Daniel was born without arms and not breathing. His parents were asked if they’d like to “just let him go.” They insisted on proper medical attention knowing that God had a special plan for their lives. Daniel’s testimony includes the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of living with his disability and the revelation of God’s plan for his life as well as the role of suffering as a Christian. He also calls audiences to embrace those who come into the world facing physical or mental challenges with eyes of faith.
Daniel is the author of My Affliction for His Glory. He also appeared on FOX News in the wake of several states’ new legislation earlier in the year to remove restrictions on late-term abortion procedures.
